The Vrsovice Talent Festival 2026
The Vrsovice Talent Festival is the core project of TALENT Drama Studio, within which graduation authorial performances, outputs, and texts by TALENT Drama Studio groups are presented—from the youngest children to adults. It takes place every year on a weekend at the beginning of June, always around a specific theme shared by all groups. Each group explores the chosen theme over the course of a year, with the aim of creating an authorial performance at the end. Groups have previously worked on themes such as Mirror, Kiosk, Absurdity, Image, Word, Letter, I Don’t Know, and Defiance. In December, the Vršovice Talent Festival is complemented by a more intimate community format, Sketches of the Vršovice Talent Festival for children and youth from TDS. This format is based on presenting their own work, as well as interesting theatre, film, or audio projects, followed by discussion.
Over the 17 years of our existence, we have staged more than a hundred performances within the festival, most of them original works. Within authorial creation, children and young people become initiators, creators, artistic makers, and performers of the productions.
